New Order for Raypilot System

Gothenburg, Sweden – April 7, 2025

Late on Friday, April 4, Micropos received a new order for a Raypilot System from the University Hospital in Bergamo, Italy. The agreement, facilitated by ELSE Solutions S.r.l., includes consumables and is valued at approximately 1 million SEK.

The Raypilot system is set to be installed in the second quarter of 2025. Dr. Portaluri, a leading oncologist in radiotherapy at the Bergamo Hospital, aims to implement a more efficient workflow for prostate cancer treatment, with a focus on reducing side effects and improving patient quality of life.
“In recent years, the level of innovation in radiotherapy has significantly increased, and we wish to actively participate in increasing the precision of treatment. The workflow with real-time monitoring and small margins to surrounding healthy tissue are incredibly important parts in reducing side effects, which in turn can contribute to a better life after treatment,” says Dr. Portaluri.

Additionally, the University Hospital in Bergamo will participate in the PRECISION study, which Micropos is conducting in collaboration with several international hospitals.

Stay tuned for further updates as Micropos Medical together with The Raypilot Users continues to drive innovation in prostate cancer care.
