New Order from Athens Medical Center

On December 30th, 2024, Micropos Medical received an order from Athens Medical Center for the previously rented Raypilot System. The deal includes the purchase of the rented system valued at approximately 1 MSEK. The hospital will continuously purchase the consumables Raypilot Hypocath and Raypilot Viewcath.

“It is very gratifying that the rental period is now transitioning to a purchase agreement. Athens Medical Center has rented a system since the summer of 2023 and has now tried to provide SBRT treatment over three to five consecutive days. This treatment option will now be available as a standard offering at the hospital for patients seeking radiation therapy”, says Thomas Lindström, managing director of Micropos Medical.

*Athens Medical Center is owned by Athens Medical Group (AMG) and was established in 1984 in Greece. AMG runs 7 hospital units with 1,200 hospital beds, 2,800 highly qualified physicians, and 3,000 highly specialized full-time employees.
