Micropos Medical signs a rental agreement with another Spanish clinic. It is the ICO hospital in Badalona* that signs a “Try-Before-Buy” agreement to use the Raypilot System for its introduction of SBRT with 5 fractions over five days for the treatment of prostate cancer.
“It is natural for clinics to want to try new equipment, especially when it comes to completely new technology and working methods. Through our “Try-Before-Buy” offer, the clinic can try to introduce a working method that increases accuracy with a focus on reducing side effects. All to improve the quality of life for patients undergoing radical prostate treatment for cancer diagnosis,” says Thomas Lindström, Managing Director of Micropos Medical.
The rental agreement is worth approximately 250,000 SEK and covers the treatment of 10 patients. After the trial period, the hospital can purchase the equipment.
