The Raypilot® System

Real-Time Precision for Every Treatment Session.

The Raypilot® System is a real-time electromagnetic tracking system that continuously monitors the position of the prostate throughout each treatment session. Designed as an add-on to existing linear accelerators, it gives clinical teams looking to deliver short-course prostate SBRT the sub-millimetre precision needed to do so with confidence.

Raypilot® HypoCath®

A temporary urinary catheter with an integrated electromagnetic transmitter. Continuously tracks the prostate in 3D and outlines the urethra, enabling urethra-sparing dose plans. Designed as a standard Foley catheter; inserted in a routine catheterisation procedure. Stays in place for the treatment period (1–5 days) and is removed after the final session.

Raypilot® Receiver

Antenna array placed on the treatment couch, placed with standard index bars. Detects the Raypilot Hypocath signal 30 times per second. The system is compatible with all carbon fibre couches.

Raypilot® Viewcath™

The Raypilot Viewcath is a planning catheter, it resembles the Hypocath without electronics. Simulates treatment geometry during CT planning. The catheter is  CT and MR compatible and is removed immediately after planning.

Raypilot® Software

The Raypilot Software displays real-time target motion in lateral, longitudinal, and vertical directions. Monitors pitch and yaw. Alerts the user if motion exceeds predefined tolerances. Self-learning signal processing resolves position with sub-millimetre accuracy. All data stored and exportable.
