This years BIR Annual Radiotherapy and Oncology Meeting 2023 took place in London last week. The meeting brings together speakers from around the world and national experts, to share experiences and expertise in a wide range of aspects for today’s cutting-edge radiotherapy and oncology.
Dr Valeria Faccenda, Medical Physicist working at Fondazione IRCCS San Gerardo dei Tintori in Monza, Italy was at the congress to present the team in Monzas latest work. During the two days Valeria gave two presentations, one regarding their work with single fraction in prostate SBRT and during day two, a presentation regarding their clinical work and research also shared in the prestigious journal Cancers earlier this year.
