About the event
The Scientific Association of Swiss Radiation Oncology (SASRO) is a multiprofessional society that unites radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation biologists, radiotherapy technologists, specialized nurses, and IT specialists with a shared mission to advance the field of radiotherapy in Switzerland.
The annual scientific meeting is the key event for the association. During this meeting, they encourage research groups, especially young colleagues, from Switzerland and abroad to present their research and exchange their ideas and visions. In addition, recent activities of SASRO include the organization of one-day multiprofessional workshops focusing on the introduction of new radiation technologies in Swiss radiation clinics, as well as the foundation of guideline and treatment planning working groups.
