Clinical data from RayPilot® System use

We are very pleased to see these preliminary data from the use of the RayPilot® System for SBRT for prostate cancer patients, published in the journal Radiation Oncology. It clearly shows the need and importance of having real-time motion monitoring to ensure an effective and safe hypofractionated treatment while minimizing the risk of side effects.

– The presented data shows that correction for motion was performed in almost half of the fractions either during setup or during treatment and despite the high dose delivered the early toxicity outcomes correspond to the results seen in the large majority of SBRT studies.

We are proud that the RayPilot® System completely fits in the SBRT workflow, without increasing the treatment time and with patients’ excellent compliance to the procedure, says Hanna Syrén, Director of Clinical Affairs at Micropos Medical.
